The Legend Continues

PART ONE - An introduction to the life and times of Sir Lattimore, who was in the midst of a comeback when he died in Pensacola one year ago.

PART TWO - The legend continues, with rumors of the musician's premature death, and how a series of tragic events brought him to Pensacola.

PART THREE - The Soul Singer finds new friends in Florida, who help him get back on his feet.

PART FOUR - As he deals with a major illness, the R&B musician is reunited with the daughter he abandoned decades before and starts to record again.

PART FIVE - About two years after moving to Pensacola, Sir Lattimore's life and career are finally back on track. Then, in an instant, it was all gone.

Nicole Sturgill is a News Anchor and Reporter for NPR member station WUWF in Pensacola. She lives just down the road from the spot where Sir Lattimore met his fate last March. I would like to take this opportunity to thank her for producing this beautiful tribute to our friend.

Hi Red / Nicole
Thanks for keeping the legend of Sir Lattimore Brown alive. I have his poster hanging on my wall in a golden frame, so we won't forget this special man.
All the best

Do you have an update on The Legend? It has been several years since Katrina.

Yes, Miss, there actually is a four part continuation of "The Legend" here:

Sir Lattimore Brown: Home At Last

...but I somehow just can't bring myself to write Part Five - the one in which my friend Sir Lattimore gets senselessly killed in a stupid car accident.

Someday.

Thanks.
